Yeah, but it doesn't qualify as completely open source until the hardware is open enough to where people can write new drivers from scratch.
Sure I can get Linux working on an Intel/Nvidia laptop, but I'm still dependent on some closed source drivers.

@alyx@gameliberty.club there are "open source" computers. As in with no closed source software running on them. But not many people are autistic enough for that. Or they are rich and buy PCs made by System76
