You can't compare the space the tech industry had to grow in, in the 80s-90s, to what is left for movie/music industry today. Sure, there are small improvements and changes, but that's really about it. Small is the key word. Netflix was revolutionary for a few years at most. Now they're churning out the same shit as everyone else.
