I find it so hilarious that these days the meme is "php bad" when 10-15 years ago it was the thing to learn if you wanted to make a decent website. How fast things change.

Probably. It would be a too massive undertaking to completely overhaul a site like that. And the risk of breaking it would be too large for them.

Php is still very useful and powerful; but most niggers don’t need that sort of speed that you can achieve with php; and it’s hard to sanitize and shit for a newcomer
