Is it illegal to just fire a few warning shots in the air, or towards a patch of soil somewhere (I'm saying soil and not ground, cause I'm guessing shrapnel is likely to ricochet off pavement)?
@alyx @crunklord420 i don't recommend firing at the ground at any time because you never know when there's a small stone or other object hidden in the grass or dirt that might cause a ricochet. Also never fire at water; even a small puddle can cause a richochet, as i found out the hard and terrifying way.

In the case of water, I'm guessing shallow angles are the problematic part.
