@mametsuko @alyx it helps but that's not all you need anki is good and stuff like lingodeer is good for grammar but I'm probably not the best for advice since I don't know wtf I am doing
@mametsuko @nonetrix @alyx You don't learn anything with subs and you don't understand anything without it.
@besserwisser @mametsuko @alyx this is what I run into but I'm starting to be able to get the gist of things without subtitles but I struggle a lot with grammar since I've mostly been focusing on words with anki
@nonetrix @alyx @mametsuko Yeah, that's also what I've been doing and fearing. I should watch some anime with subs until I get what's going on, then rewatch it without them and see how much I understand.
