I find it so ironic that Dooku was actually telling the truth to Obi-Wan. There were fewer lies spun within the CIS than the Republic.
And the truly hilarious part, is that Dooku was in fact hoping to take down Palpatine with Kenobi's help.

The CGI show really made it the best time period in current canon for me.
I can't help but respect a man that gets exactly what he wants
