Ok, I'll fill you in on the "hellthread" phenomenon. It's simply a thread which by whatever means has well over a dozen people tagged into it, that constantly respond to each other, and end up spamming your notifications if you're in it. The thread itself can be either about nothing but shitposting, or it can veer into all kinds of topics. It can even have multiple discussions going on at the same time, and you get to see all of it, in one long mega-thread that can last days, and that will slow your device to a crawl when you try to see it all.
It's an achievement that I've only witnessed on fedi so far, and it is glorious.

You can only prepare them as best you can, and hope they make it into this wild world we live in.
Your mileage may vary but I consider MK as the one true hell threader. I get caught up in nonsense threads all the time and it's no big deal but MK will scar your soul and possibly piss in your cereal.
IDK kinda like I said it's different for different people.

MK's hellthreads are annoying to me. The best hellthreads are the ones that occur naturally. MK is too desperate to artificially create hellthreads that they end up lacking that je ne sais quoi charm they should have.

Oh, definitely. Some of the best/worst examples there is (depending if you view hellthreads as possitive/negative). Not my personal favorite, and they don't always last, but when they do, they're some of the most hellthready hellthreads there are. Complete and utter chaos are the only words you can use to describe them.
Well I suppose the best primer for the notorious hacker know as MK is that he was responsible for the 2018 tranny hack on gab
In 2018 there was an incident on gab where every single group, every single thread was spammed with tranny porn.
Every.Single.One. even cooking channels.
And that was one big hellthread for him. Boomers were furious. he wanted to start this,not for the money..its..you know I'm not sure why. Anyways that is who we are talking about.
