This makes literally no sense. "Hostile" implies it's being done by conscious choice, on purpose. "Mental illness" implies you're not of sound mind enough to actually make a choice in the matter. So what she proposes is self contradictory. Which makes me wonder how sane she is.

@alyx He was apparently a weirdo when he was a pediatrician, he had a near miss for all the people that died in Nursing homes under his watch (after he took his own mother out). This guy is protected by the media.

When I heard of the appointment I've tried searching a bit for any history of political views or ideological views, but couldn't really find anything. So I guess you're right about the media protection bit.
