I have never seen companies as brazen as Uber/Lyft/DoorDash. It is fucking amazing how much these guys will throw people under the bus. Every time I think "well, they can't do something worse," it happens

Teaching people how to gain valuable skills and negotiate/not be tricked into giving up all their leverage is a whole other issue. There’s a lot of idiocy in how people think about jobs/school/money. But it’s also hard to get leverage in a modern environment if you’re kind of dumb/average intelligence. So idk if they deserve it, exactly. Depends how hard they try looking for other options.
