I have trouble thinking of aliens as animals. For me the defining feature of animals would be non-sentience, but if there are intelligent aliens out there, then they'd be something different from Earth animals.

Unresolved my ass. I'm secure enough in my masculinity to openly say that if we lived in a Harry Potter like universe, where one could drink a magical potion to truly change your sex, and it would be completely reversible, I would do it in a heartbeat to be able to experience what it would be like to be a woman. And I don't have gender dysphoria or any crap like that, but I am curious to see for myself just how much different the female experience is, and whether there's any truth to feminist rhetoric.

Probably not. If I were interested in that experience, I could do it anytime already. If I were to magically become a woman, I'd want vagina sex. Also lesbian sex. I'd definitely want to try that.
