The purpose of surgical masks is not to protect yourself from viruses, the purpose is that if you got it without knowing (or maybe if you're asymptomatic) you're less likely to spread it to others if you wear the mask. Surgical masks protect you indirectly by means of everyone around you wearing one.
If you want to protect yourself directly, you need at least an N95 mask or better.

Btw masks don't do shit. It's just to enforce mob rule on those who actually have a functioning brain. If we actually cared for people we wouldn't have falsified stats, spread false information and we'd be giving them cheap treatment that is available right now such as ivermectin.

Are you that dumb to think that's what people like me did? Someone said "wear a mask", and I responded "how many?"
Before it was widespread in any western country, before of any talk of mask mandate, before Fauci was a complete moron, I looked up what masks do and don't do, and I decided for myself how and when I can and want to wear one.
Just because my own conclusions happen to coincide with government stances, doesn't mean jack shit, you dumbass. In many ways, the measures I take go beyond the official recommendations.
I don't have to wear masks outdoors or in parks, but I choose to do it the second I step outside of my door, because that's what I decided it's best for me and the people I care about. Because I never know when I may decide to enter a store, or a business, or take a bus, it's preferable for me to just have my mask on the entire time, than fidget with it every time I go in and out of a building.

If you're so sure of that, next time you need to have surgery done, or go to a dentist, or whatever, insist to your doctors to put away their surgical masks. I dare you.
