There's something that I'm curious about Diablo 2 Resurrected in regard to the new animations.
In og Diablo 2 FCR and IAS were key for any build, but the way animations worked, it meant you needed to reach certain breakpoints, and further IAS/FCR didn't add any improvements unless you reached the next breakpoint.
Seeing how in Resurrected the animations are MUCH smoother, will this allow more gradual improvements with FCR and IAS, to where you don't constantly need to target certain fixed breakpoints? If this is indeed the case, then it might change the balance of the game and character builds quite a lot, maybe to the point of leaving some completely broken or obsolete.
P.S.
FCR = faster cast rate, it applied to casting spell type skills
IAS = increased attack rate, it applied to any weapon based attack
I also wonder if they messed around with how attributes work. Will ALL builds still require you invest at most 50 into strength, and everything else into vitality? (only exception was for a bowazon were you needed to add some dexterity too)
