Never played the game myself, so unless Midgar is not a place related to Final Fantasy I don't see a problem.

I can understand someone rolling their eyes at another battle royale, but other than that there's no news here. It's not even the first time FFVII had a mobile game set in the same universe.
@alyx I just like watching the fans rage at what they thought would be something interesting or good. My opinion on FF7 is very EH so I don't care I'm just here for the fan revolt.
@alyx like I was convinced from the start the remake was never getting a followup at least not a proper one. It felt like a product that was always going to remain half finished

Part 2 is probably coming. Even Valve managed to count to 2. Part 3 though... that's another story.
@alyx like they've realized interest peaked with part 1 and not do anything else. like MAYBE part 2 actually gets out the door but it won't do as well because the hype has fallen off and then they'll cancel it.
