Yeah, I'm an atheist centrist, that means I can hate both Christianity and Islam.

TBH I kinda passed that hate fedora atheist phase. I still get annoyed by certain aspects from time to time.

@alyx @galena @allison i'll take the cross thumpers over the crescenters. they are both iconoclastic assholes though.

@icedquinn @allison @galena
To be 100% honest, I'd really rather have all the Jew related conspiracy theories be true, and have Jews take over everything, then either cross thumpers or crescenters.

@alyx @allison @galena if all those conspiracies were true we could solve all the world's problems very easily and have peace on earth :blobcatsmirk:

@icedquinn @allison @galena
Unless aliens from another planet attack, I don't think world peace is achievable, no matter who's in charge.

@alyx
It is achievable. It just takes measures that people ain't willing to do though.
@icedquinn @allison @galena
@allison @alyx No, you see, I hate a certain unnameable third group as well. Such a strong position gets me banned even from reddit.

@galena @allison
Because you got it wrong. You're not supposed to hate the groups of people, you're supposed to hate the ideologies they follow.

@alyx @allison I was shitposting before, but yeah, I agree with that. No one follows the ideology 100%, and it would be pointless to hate someone who only gives lip service to an ideology without knowing how vile it is, or someone who tries to cherrypick out the "good" parts, as much as I'd hate the worst of its followers. I can hate individuals, and I can hate ideologies, but I don't hate every individual who happens to follow any given ideology. Hate is too valuable to be wasted painting broad strokes.
