I unironically agree, only I use foobar2000 with wine, because it offers me even more stuff I want than Winamp.

Better library management, better EQ, better conversion options, replay-gain, playback statistics, a very impressive id3 tag auto-complete feature and countless third-party plugins that do nifty things, like a waveform progress bar, or an album art display that can also show the lyrics. Sometimes even a small thing like numbering the tracks in my playlist is enough reason why I keep it over a Linux alternative.
I haven't tried Foobar2000 on android in a long time. Last I checked, it was still poorer than the alternatives there. Right now I use Vanilla Music, but if you're willing to pay a few bucks, Poweramp is another great choice. If you're on iPhone, I'm afraid I haven't got a clue what's available for it.
