6 hours blackout apparently for a "configuration mistake".
@alyx The more I read about it the more it seems like sabotage.

yeah, there are a few odd coincidences. Don't know what it is, if it's a hack, sabotage or something else, but what I do know is that I'm not convinced by any means that it's a "config mistake".
It doesn't take 6 hours of diagnosis to figure out the problem is caused by a recent config change. We've seen big sites go down before because of such errors, but not for so much time.
