Xen actually was one of the best parts of original Half-Life.

I originally liked it because of the different alien feel it had compared to the rest of the game, but it didn't withstand after multiple playthroughs like other chapters. I still like the boss battles, but Interloper is probably my least favorite chapter right now.

@alyx for me it's kinda tiresome but I find many chapters in game like this. I don't know how much times I replayed whole game.

But in context, Xen part does what it should. I just don't get hate it receives.
