I usually choose "not interested in this" instead of "don't recommend this channel". It should be better at avoiding similar content from multiple similar channels.

@alyx @BlinkRape the algorithm stops recommending u stop at all at some point, It's like my way or the highway.

I thought if I told it not to recommend me the propaganda stuff then I would get good stuff but at some point it just stopped recommending me shit, now it just gives me the 50 same vids again and again

Try to search some stuff you're interested in too. Recommendations can only go so far by themselves if youtube doesn't have enough ideas of what you might like.
For instance Youtube will never give you videos of people skydiving if you never searched or opened a video of people skydiving.
Sometimes it does recommend videos based on trends in your geographical location, but those can be few and far between. And they'll probably suck anyway.

@alyx @BlinkRape yea you are right, but I would like youtube to try stuff on me randomly, maybe I like it, it used to be like this and I would discover cool small channels that way but now is like small channels dont exist

I haven't noticed Youtube itself being a good way to find small channels in many many years. Maybe getting close to a decade since Youtube is more likely to recommend already established channels than small ones. At least that's how it's been for me.
I don't think Youtube really gives random stuff anymore. Without any clue on what you like, it probably just defaults to general trends in your country, which is definitely not random.
