Because Nobel prize winning economists can't be political hacks, that are too scared to be seen as not "liberal" (aka be called conservative nazis). Especially since these days, if you don't support Biden's plans, you must be a Trump supporter. And we all know full well how Trump supporters are being treated everywhere. Basically, it could be career suicide if these economists don't endorse Biden.
