Definitely expect NVME drives to become cheaper than SATA SSDs.
You may think that they should cost the same, since they use the same basic materials (chips), but remember that SATA drives also have that plastic/metal housing that a NVME drive doesn't.
Also, market forces are pushing for a wide adoption of NVME, that old SSDs never really got.

Also, while Kingston aren't the worst drives you could buy, please consider investing in a Samsung one if you value your data.
