Are people not aware that vaccination cards/passports aren't a new thing? Try traveling to Africa/Middle East/Asia, and you'll discover you'll need to get certain vaccines and some kind of medical card to certify you got those vaccines. This has been a thing for decades.

@alyx @thedrizl In Europe they've been common, but I'm not sure that's right about Asia. There are vaccinations that the state department will recommend people get, but there's typically no check unless you plan on immigrating. Even in the EU, they were more for school/jobs, not tourism

Going to the local market to buy coffee and going to Africa isn't the same :02_blink:

Right, but the random older documents people come across are literally about the second kind of vaccine passports, those required to travel to exotic countries. There's nothing newsworthy here.

It's worthy if it pushes people towards the truth

Different context greater consequences

This is like saying Harry Potter pushes people to the truth of witches.

There is plenty of evidence of governments being dumb. You don't need to make up bullshit. Besides, when people realize such documents have nothing to do with what's happening around covid, they'll just call you a crazy conspiracy theorist and ignore what you say.

They'll do so regardless, gaslighting is what matters :02_learn:
