Remembering how in Fire Emblem Awakening there was a potential based and redpilled incest pairing in the original Japanese version but Nintendo of America, perpetual loathsome cowards, toned down the romantic implications of their S support and labeled them as “companions” in their status screen instead of “Husband” and “Wife.” Pathetic.

@alyx I checked out of the fire emblem fan community a while back but at the time the only new one with a fan tl that fixed all the “localization” crap was Fates. It’s definitely the game that needed the most fixing, that official translation was a real hack job, but Awakening and Three Houses’ localized versions both have a lot of problems. From memory the Echoes official TL was mostly fine.
