Getting off of the gold standard was a mistake. The coof pandemic wouldn't be nearly as bad. Yeah, there would have been a depression but we would have been forced to confront it head on instead of Biden kicking the can down the road and making it 10x worse when it does actually hit.
Everything was better on the gold standard. Remember Tupperware? Yeah, even the pyramid schemes had quality products that people actually wanted back then.
