Honestly I expect this to never materialize, just like in December of 2020 when they were supposedly going to go on strike over the election.

This is a bit too big, and would demand too much planning. It's not impossible, but I would say it's not likely to successfully occur as stated.
Still, sometimes just the threat of something this big could be enough for people in power to take actions.
