I took the jab, because if there's even a slight chance it will help keep me or my family healthy, I'll take it. Same reason I wear a mask, or wash my hands far more often that I used to, or use hand sanitizer when I didn't use to.
As for "I have a family to feed", I think Tim Pool has the best take on this: you're more likely to harm your family in the long run by complying with the authoritarian mandates.
I don't agree with the mandates, a lot of the policies that have been put in place even in my own country make no sense imo. I'm just lucky enough that the measures I took/take to protect myself, irrespective of whether there is a mandate or not, left me immune to the any negative effects of the mandates.
For example, I started wearing masks in public before there was any talk of it in the media. Heck, Fauci was even against masks at that time. When they put a mask mandate, it didn't affect me one bit. What was I supposed to do, pretend to change my mind and stop wearing a mask, just to spite some politician?
