@vib
Is it any good?
@vib
A few weeks ago I got hit by an urge to play a 3D fantasy game, with loot drops, quests, and a story line, and briefly considered Genshin Impact. But I'm generally not big on MMO stuff, partly because I can get distracted and bored easily. I usually switch between games frequently, and will put down a game for extended periods of time, which doesn't work that well for MMO stuff, that expect you to play it 24/7.
The bad part is, I never got around to scratching that itch for a fantasy game.
@alyx@gameliberty.club you're free to play at your own pace pretty much
@vib
Really? I had this strong impression that it's like every other freemium game, that pushes multiplayer down your throat. Shit... I might actually look into it then. Is it Linux friendly?
@alyx@gameliberty.club haha, no, it's not. it actually has a rootkit anticheat yay
@vib
I was just looking into it myself, and apparently you need Windows somewhere to play it. (either dual-boot or a VM)
I could dual-boot, but I'm not in the mood for the hassle right now. Might try it when the itch comes back. Right now I'm busy enjoying Mass Recall.
@alyx@gameliberty.club Genshin Impact is not MMO though. it is single player with the possibility of doing co-op
