@alyx You are working under the impression that there are rules or any sort of legal process here. That if you just act so moral and keep protesting that one day things will just magically sort themselves out. At no point in history has that ever become true. Every revolution, even the more 'peaceful' ones involved force in some way and a subsequent persecution of state enemies which could not be integrated into the new state. In France, thirty consecutive weeks of protests against internal passports (or "health passes" if you want to use a euphemism to mystify them) have not produced any meaningful result. The protesters go in, the gendarmes maul them with dogs and riot gear, then they do it all again next week, rinse and repeat in various major nations' capitals. What we learn is that the ones in power only listen to - and therefore can only be appealed to - with dirty tactics and force.
Are you a libertarian? If you are, my advice is that you eagerly embrace the liberal side. The place for "free market" supporters, at this point, is with the managerial state and its corporate allies (or masters, depending on how you see it)
If you care in any way about personal liberties and national self-determination you are considered "far-right" by any modern Western regime.

@alyx Libertarian, then. You should seriously consider joining a DEI department at some NGO. It's best that you realize that your ideological leanings are harmful to any real anti-government sentiment and are only beneficial as a pressure release valve for real and organic dissent to spread.
I can justify my opinions on what needs to be done because Canada is an actual literal prison state which prevents the people the government openly hates from leaving for a place which doesn't, which has run down eight of the ten stages of genocide on parts of its own civilian population in order to coerce them to inject a medical product which offers little-to-no benefit and has demonstrably caused harm. It doesn't take being a scientist to understand said product's mechanism of work and how it can cause harm, either.
The truckers do, in fact, need to win. They need to win because if they don't they are all arrested then they will have their lives arbitrarily ruined to satisfy the childish temper tantrums of the bureaucrats whose enforcers are suppressing them on the streets as we speak, and lying about their actions in the field on social media, whilst being cheered by masses of evil TV watching monsters.
Make no mistake: You are, in the name of sticking to some hypothetical set of "principles", defending the dehumanization of millions of Canadian citizens, and citizens of many nations around the world, over a reasonable refusal to take one specific medical intervention of dubious utility. You are telling me that you would rather the digital police state become the norm, a state where your ability to participate in human society or even earn an income is determined by whether you choose to, or not, inject a useless and outright dangerous treatment into your body, because the people on TV said so. In sticking to your "principles", every single thing which you purport to fight for is stripped away from everyone around you. While you argue with retards online about how "if we do what they're doing we'll be just like them", they run down old ladies and use gas upon unarmed civilians. Whether you realize it or not, you're a hatchetman for the people who arbitrarily call emergency acts because they're angry and lock people in their homes because Chinese propaganda told them it was a good idea.
