>neither is like, literally any woman alive
As if men are somehow inherently satisfied with their bodies. Nobody likes their default meat bags.
@icedquinn
You do have a point there.
@icedquinn
Could be. But also consider that men are also judged for other things besides their body. Like what kind of job they have, how much money they make, what kind of social standing they have, etc. So I think this places less emphasis on the body, and makes men focus on other things they can accomplish too.
Women on the other hand, while not always, can get by with only being judged for their body. So maybe this makes women feel like they get a bigger return on investment if they focus on their bodies more.
idk, just throwing ideas. I'm sure in reality there's a huge number of factors that go into these behaviors.
so men and women see men as a singular part and men and women see women as a composite of various D-S ranked parts.
although the downside to this is that host attractiveness curves is gaussian for males and power curve for women. so while men only consist of "one part" when it comes to physical judgement, 90% of men are deemed trash tier.
so if you self-assess as a huge pile of parts but then you judge everything outside the 90th percentile as trash you're gonna get weird obsessions like 'oh no my thighs are just slightly to big, therefore they are awful'
i dunno if that last part is true but it seems logical
