I'm not American, but to me it seems absurd to try to deny 2A or revoke it. People simply have an inherent right to self defense against ANYTHING that might cause them any kind of harm, be it a wild animal, a criminal or a corrupt government. 2A simply acknowledges that you are able to exercise your right to self defense with man made tools too, not just your fists. If someone takes away 2A, they might as well deny you of your right to any self defense and officially change USA in an authoritarian system (be it communism, fascism, etc).
