Bruh I'm reading the book called Blindsight, and for no apparent reason vampires exist in it. It's a sci fi alien first contact book that ostensibly has nothing to do with vampires.

Apparently vampires went extinct or something because humans developed THE RIGHT ANGLE. Like the reason vampires can be warded away with a crucifix is not because it's holy, but because looking at right angles gives vampires a grand mal seizure and they have to take ANTI-ECUDLIAN medication to prevent it. 😂
