I'm no expert in biology, even less in evolutionary biology. But it amuses me greatly, that "intelligent design" advocates think they know better than leading figures in the field.
I'm no expert, so I can't claim, nor try, to prove to them evolution is a fact. All I can do is point them to what I've found to be easy to digest sources. But these people, who clearly are less knowledgeable than me, somehow think they can "debunk" the experts. As proof they can do so, they refuse to even consider reading whatever I'd point them to.
I find it hilarious really, but it's probably also a big waste of time to interact with them further.

It's definitely a big waste of time. Intelligent design is just creationism wrapped up in pseudo-science. You're basically trying to convince devoutly religious people to give up their religious beliefs.

@dave
Truth be told, I wasn't really trying to convince them. I was more mocking them than anything else.
I did try an initial attempt of "here's some stuff you can read that answer some of the things you're asking, if you're honestly looking for answers". Turns out he wasn't honestly looking for answers.

Biologists are morons. For 60 years biologists got osmosis wrong and no one noticed. Biology is where the tards go to play at science.

@polarisera
Not sure what you mean regarding "biologists got osmosis wrong". As far as I know osmosis is a process that has to do with physics. It's not something exclusive to biological systems.

You're halfway there, biologist have an entirely different theory without evidence or facts. And why is that? Biology is a bunch of ass-licking morons telling each other how smart they are.
@Hollahollara @polarisera @alyx WTF is that supposed to be? The human centipede defending freedom all over the globe?

@AnungIkwe @polarisera @Hollahollara
They're probably training them to eat gay ass. Clearly an important skill for today's American army.

@polarisera
Well, I'm not familiar with whatever theory you know of, so there's not much I can comment.

@alyx @polarisera
All you need to know is that many well respected "biologists" say that trannies are valid. That's all you need to know. The fields of science are filled with fart huffers, jews who purposefully lie, shitlibs who purposefully lie, and of people who were basically just handed their credentials because they weren't White males. There is no more science, there is only soyence and the soyence is settled...it's gay as fuck. When the west collapses under the weight of all this gay shit, we will need to completely restart science, and we should start from the most basic aspects and challenge ALL of our assumptions.
@polarisera @alyx i think the problem is the relationship between sodium and blood pressure is more complex than just more sodium = higher pressure. the basic principle of osmotic pressure across a semi-permeable membrane is easily verified with a simple experiment.
Only the rules were "designed" everything else is the result of the universal rules acting
Ok but get this: Science is fake and gay and The Bible said its so

@Tyler
Nothing saddens me more than people who still cling to the Bible as a source of scientific truth about how the world works.
If someone wants to quote the Bible for "god is real", I'm pretty chill about it these days. But when they try to use the Bible for "the world is 6000 years old".... it just reminds me that I lost faith in humanity a long time ago.

@alyx @Tyler I like how ancient hindu books were kind of the opposite I remember something like before the kaliyuga the human lifespan was several million years

@meeper @Tyler
Don't know much about the hindu faith, but they seem more chill.

@alyx @Tyler indian culture thrived on appropriation and soft spreading, so by nature it's much more chill

Like when your country is a fertile land with a culture of saintlyness you tend to be chill
Ok, but if The Bible said it it's true so
People seem to insist that there is a discrepancy between what God did, create the universe and all the life in it, including the Earth and the life upon it, and how he did it (which at this point we only partially understand but certainly evolution is part of it). Other than time frame there is no discrepancy. And the time frame, often seems highly metaphorical in the Bible.
