I can add seasoning and oil to paper too. Doesn't make paper any good. If you NEED seasoning and oil to make mushrooms taste good, that's objective proof that mushrooms taste bad.

You need to actually prove that mushrooms themselves add something of value to a dish, for your take to actually be considered any close to good.
For now, all you've managed to do is prove the reverse relationship, that you need to bring stuff with value to mushrooms to make something out of them.
