Reminder that we are still far away from having a complete view of the laws of physics, evidenced by the fact that we don't yet have a tried and tested theory of quantum gravity. It's possible we might find a reason why time travel is impossible, aside from the obvious that it would need insane amounts of energy to achieve. I think I've even heard claims of "more energy than there is in the universe".
