Holocaust proponents deal with this total lack of evidence by falling back on the most ridiculous shit like holocaust scholar Raul Hilberg's "meeting of the minds", where the Germans spontaneously and independently decided, as though psychically communicating, to exterminate the jews, without central organisation. The holocaust did not happen.

Remember, if you add up the total civilian and POW death toll from WW2 you will be well into the tens of millions. If some of those happened to be Jewish, that does not represent "the most important historical event ever, ever" like it is now. Ask a normie why WW2 was necessary or why a given far right group is bad, you will ultimately end up at "The Holocaust" and not because they think deaths from starvation and disease are bad.

@alyx @Terry your standard is unfortunately a lot more relaxed than many nations where "holocaust denial" is a serious crime. the 6 gorillion is obviously a trope that's been reused before, but how many i really don't know. 1 mllion plus is plausible. i haven't studied it that much.

all i can say is when 1, you're not allowed to question it, and 2, you see a lot of blatant lies woven into the narrative, it casts serious doubt on the entire thing

but just based on what i know of the anti-jew rhetoric being pushed in germany at the time i won't dismiss it outright, it's entirely plausible that some bad things were done to jews in concentration camps. i think many deaths were due to typhus. not too sure about gas chambers and the rest of it.
