So bae.st might be down, but the good news is that Ian is not on Tim Pool tonight, so it's actually watchable without constantly screaming "Shut the fuck up Ian"

Ian's purpose is to derail the show when it's getting too serious. Tim constantly reminds people that he didn't intend the late night podcast to be political. He wanted to be a fun hangout time, where people talked about modern culture stuff: movies, games, sports etc.

They did have a few non-political driven episodes at the start. I even remember them talking about the Sonic movie once. But then the elections happened, and everything spiraled out of control.
also i never cared for how they treated ian he has some fun takes and it really seems like the whole purpose of him being there is just so tim pool has someone to treat like shit.
