So the actual issue is potential power blackouts that would effect network cells too (which should have been obvious to anyone with a brain cell though). So the real story continues to be fear of insufficient energy supplies.

@alyx I don't know about your neck of the woods but western Europe is scrambling to deal with this. Many countries are considering rationing power for a few hours a day and thus limiting mobile access.

Romania is not that dependent on Russian gas. I was looking earlier today on how much we import from Russia, and we're basically way down in the list of EU countries that take gas from them. And from what I know, we also didn't use nordstream 2, so I don't believe the recent incident bothers us at all. Energy price is increasing, but I don't think it's gonna hit us as hard as Germany.

@alyx you're gonna have a better quality of life than most Germans come this December
@alyx @Terry Don't think this won't impact you. Where do you think the other countries are going to scramble to get their energy from? Similar resources as the rest of the continent so more competition for the resources available.
