This is what differentiates KDE devs from GNOME devs: acknowledging the shortcomings and the willingness to work on it instead if attacking others

IIRC they had an initiative at some point, where they focused on what they called "15 minutes bugs", named such cause they were fairly easy to fix, needing 15 minutes of work on average. So they dedicated a lot of precious time on countless of these small bugs, instead of fancy features.

Gnome on the other hand... there really isn't anything I'm hearing from that side that I like or am impressed with. I hear more praise about xfce.

I was introduced to Linux through Gnome 2, but I fell in love when I found KDE Plasma.
