John Fetterman. He’s the Democratic candidate for Senator in Pennsylvania, which is a dem-leaning (but not solidly dem) state. Since this election is highly contested (it’s nearly a coin toss on who is going to be controlling the senate right now), it’s big news.

The GOP candidate, Dr. Oz, does health advice on TV. He’s a bit of a quack, can’t remember specifically whether it’s because he does herbal medicine or some other BS, but whatever.

Anyways, Fetterman had a stroke right before the primaries (which I think he and his wife were supposed to have hidden), and since the MSM is so partisan they’ve been downplaying the severity of his cognitive impairment. Except last night he finally did a live debate with Oz, and so the general public has probably realized how bad it is.

And the polling was already pretty close, so odds are the debate sunk his campaign. We’ll see, though.
