Had a dream I was playing around with Windows 95 on a virtual machine on @thor 's computer. I was remembering where all the settings were, and how everything worked back then, and I was getting used to not using the various gestures and shortcuts that modern OSes brought to the PC.
The conclusion was that we need to go back to 1998 technology.
We need to go back to proprietary software from 1998?
Even so, GNU/Linux had less proprietary malware in/for it in 1998, so maybe we do need to go back.
