I never considered you an idiot, but it's not the first time I see you posit that a short argument is somehow proof that a person is correct, and it does make me scratch my head.
An atheist can spend days explaining why the Bible is self contradictory, historically wrong, immoral, and just plain wrong.
A Christian can say "It's true because the Bible says so, and I trust the Bible because it says god, a perfect being, wrote the Bible, so it must be true".
The latter is significantly shorter. By your reasoning, chances are it's the correct position.

The more you dissect a statement, the more you explain your position, the longer the argument is gonna get.
It's easy to say "nah, I disagree". It's hard to actually explain why you disagree, to point out why you are right, and to try to make yourself perfectly understood.
