You must live an alternate reality. The camps were documented by those built them. This includes the many ordinary businesses that provided services and material to the camps. Some of these businesses still exist, therefore easy to see their history.
Jewish neighbourhoods in Europe were cleared of Jews, but not those who were considered akin to the majority German population. Polish people in occupied Poland were categorised depending on their perceived racial heritage.
