Minetest is free software, with software released under the LGPL-2.1-or-later or Apache 2.0 and with media released under CC-BY-SA-3.0 or OFL-1.1.
I have no attraction to pre-pubescent children, which means I am not a pedophile and I have no attraction to minors either (studies have found that most males are in fact attracted to 15-17 year olds (pubescent and post-pubescent minors), as well as those 18+, but don't usually admit it out of fear of being branded a pedophile).
Furthermore I am a wizard.
It actually would usually be a bad mistake for a pedophile to seek help and go to therapy and admit that they are pedophile, as there is mandatory reporting that would ruin their life (yes, the current policies make the problem worse, rather than better).
I do wonder where the incorrect assumption that if someone has an attraction to prepubescent children, they also have an uncontrollable desire to rape, come from?
A focus of resources towards pedophiles, instead of towards predators (of which ~10% are pedophiles), would be incredibly negligent and fail to protect most victims (which is what most governments do).
Allowing pedophiles to seek therapy without questions asked and consequences should be done, as that could reduce the amount of rapes by up to 10%, but other actions need to be taken to deal with 90% of the problem.
There are too many sick communities of predators (of which only ~10% are pedophiles), and 100% of such should be arrested, not merely 10% - but it seems you support the arrest of only 10% and also a bunch of other innocent people who aren't in such communities.

It makes you look like you have a personal stake in the discussion. I just ignore those topics. 
I personally have a stake in wanting child abuse to end, or realistically at least become much less prevalent and so don't hesitate to point out what's making it worse.

Take your point on the distinction between predators and pedophiles, and how to focus resources.
By the word "pedophile" most people do include 100% of the people who predate on minors. That's included in their definition of the word. So when they say "focus on pedophiles" they already include 100% of the predators too. So your point, while maybe true (the hell do I know), it's completely pointless. Nobody is "supporting the arrest of only 10%" of predators.
In reality you're arguing with no-one over nothing. You're being uselessly pedantic, and that's coming from someone who can be autistically pedantic about word use too.

Don't know how Mario 64 PC or OpenRCT does things, but Doom and Quake sourceports make you install the original games and extract the resources from them yourself.
Then those people simply don't download the texture pack and use default or some other alternative texture pack. There are tons to choose from. Also png's can't be "closed source" it's an open format so very few people are going to be schizo to the point of being afraid of a folder of images from Minecraft. It's the proprietary code they don't like.
Also as for the texture pack violating copyright, yeah it probably does. Nobody using the texture pack cares lol, worst case scenario Microsoft sends a cease and desist and the download link goes away. It's not made by the Minetest developers, it's just a random texture pack made by some anons.
I personally don't care at all, I've played the Mario 64 pc port, doom and quake sourceports, OpenRCT etc. All of those use copyrighted images and audio on an open source engine, no freetard cares about the art licensing, even foss extremists like Stallman are fine with copyrighted images and audio as long as the code is free.
