@alyx its really sad to watch Rome 2 collapse because its a lot of the same shit that happened back then too. a lot of things built on the back of the clasical empire just existing cascade collapsed because nobody wanted (or could?) pick up the slack, and the place maintaining it just sort of went in to an infinite tailspin.
