I'm slowly recovering from a massive headache. Or maybe migraine? I never properly looked up what the difference is. In any case, this one felt like the toothache equivalent of a head pain. I'm used to headaches, unfortunately, but fuck this one was so bad.

@alyx migraines are like, synapses that don't close and just keep firing in loops and brain hurty.

@icedquinn Was having a look right now.
>nausea
>vomiting
I've had that happen with prolonged headaches, especially if I don't act fast and take some pain killers, and it did happen this time too.

>visual disturbances
I'm not sure what would qualify here, but at a point, I started to feel dizzy, and my vision got blurry, as if I had been drinking.

>sensitivity to light, sound, or both
I feel like this one is valid for headaches in general, not really just a migraine thing. But sure, I could toss this one too as evidence for it being a migraine.

But what makes me think I never had a migraine per se, not even this time, is that later on it says it usually happens on one side of the head. And I've never experienced that. I always feel them localized in the forehead.

So I feel like it was most likely a headache, but a massive one.

Wait, I've hit something interesting on a different site. About an hour or two before it hit, I was getting allergy symptoms.

Sounds like a regular headache after all, but I'll need to pay more attention to my allergies. I never considered it could contribute to this.
