Is it bad that my 32-thread ryzen hangs out at like 80ºC under load? I genuinely have no idea how to cool this thing better than the 360mm AiO I have on there.

@VD15 I don't think the temp is bad (it shouldn't be throttling as far as I know), but I don't think it shouldn't be that high with water cooling. The only things I can think of that you could check is if the thermal paste is ok, and make sure the AIO hasn't lost water.

@alyx I'm pretty sure the cooler's functional, because it's able to subtract heat decently quick once the load subsides. I've also checked and re-applied the thermal paste twice in the history of this CPU because I just didn't believe the 20ºC spikes I was seeing in system monitor.

This thing does turbo up to ~5GHz, so I wonder if this thing just turbos until 80º and decides to hang around there for its own safety.

@VD15 @alyx Pretty sure you're correct. You could try running a stress test with s-tui and watch the temp if you're curious. 80C should be within spec, though.
