Im not into lolis at all but its just basic logic that victimless alternatives like drawings and sex dolls reduce the demand for actual children to be victimised by offering a legal and ethical outlet without a victim.

But people just ban the ethical alternatives out of an emotional reaction. While ignoring the consequences of their actions.

They are the same as the people who think violent videogames cause violence. Despite violent crime rates having fallen.

Drawing a parallel to another claim of fiction influencing personality.
Looks like a decent foundation to me, and it's pretty basic.

Is your post ironic?
@SystemSock @Publius @matrix You're throwing a bunch of things in a bucket and calling the conclusion logic.
Behavior is influenced by more than personality.
Violent media including games do lead to increased aggression, there's just not enough data to draw the link to criminal behavior which is itself based on more than just personality or emotion, so how about you provide more than half an argument before calling it logic?
@cereal @Publius @matrix Right back at you.

You just made a baseless assertion.
Which you then admit you have no data for.

> so how about you provide more than half an argument before calling it logic?

@cereal @matrix @SystemSock

Could it not just be that people who are already violent are more likely to play violent videogames?
