Tolerating a mental illness with a bucket list of problems (such as being effectively infertile, being so impulsive you have a 20-30 shorter lifespan, and being many many many times more likely to be child rapists and serial killers), is obviously degenerate to society.

A society needs a culture, which means an ethnic group and a majority behavior. However, there are always going to be outsiders and fringe-dwellers, and I think as long as they do not attack the majority they should be left alone.
We don't need another government that insists on crawling up our asses.
