@matrix For six years, as a middle sized post-war nation, rampant problems, conquering most of Europe, with with two continent sized countries against it

@applejack @matrix It's almost as if starting a world war is a bad idea, wow, maybe they should have considered the consequences of pissing off basically the entire world before invading all of their neighbors

@Alex @matrix Britain started the war (the guys that conquered more than half the planet)

@applejack @Alex How? Germany invaded and occupied several neighboring nations.

@matrix @Alex They invaded a part of Poland because Hitler wanted territory. He already did it and Chamberland didn't do shit, so figured it was fine. After that he tried negotiating peace countless times

Fighting over territory lines isn't declaring war, and still happens today

@applejack @Alex If he figured it was fine and didn't intend war, why Plan Z a thing?

@matrix @Alex They wanted a big navy like Britain. If that means you want war, why did Britain have one?

@applejack @Alex Why should a nation in crisis invest into military production if no war is planned?

@matrix @Alex Hitler did actually have pretty fairly retarded ideas on economics, Keynesian sorta shit (and Keynes praised Hitler before the war), which would involve things like "Big army, many jobs"

@matrix @Alex I'm not libertarian anymore, but I'm still Austrian

@applejack @Alex With a strong army you can get more resources by attacking other nations
