gamers be like "i can't afford a $70 game!" meanwhile they're on their 2nd iphone and 3rd xbox controller in 2 years because they have no idea how to treat their electronics.

@beardalaxy $40 per 5256 hours is a hell of a lot better than $70 for 20 hours of gameplay
Even a $1000 iPhone per year is $0.114 per hour instead of $3.5
@applejack fair enough! $70 is a bit steep for me, but I've paid $60 for games that gave me 20-30 hours that I really love and had an awesome time with. You can really only expect that quality from a handful of companies though, especially these days.
I'm thinking more along the lines that people would maybe have more money to spend on games they want to play if they didn't waste their money on things that ought to last a lot longer.
