I SOLVED THE PROBLEM WITH MY AMP DISTORTION

for some reason i guess the mix when i plug in directly to the amp is too hot, so i need to plug into something else first to kind of soften up the signal and then plug into my amp. after that i was really only getting distortion when i was pushing it super hard and trying to do it on purpose so i'd say that's a success!
